ABOUT
The Summit 2026
A PREMIER SETTING
For Meaningful Change

Set at the acclaimed Rydges Resort in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, The Summit offers a premium yet accessible destination just a short drive from Sydney. This picturesque, retreat-style setting creates an environment where conversations flow naturally, barriers are reduced and genuine, lasting connections are formed.
With attendance growing year on year, The Summit 2026 marks an exciting new chapter — expanding its focus to encompass Indigenous employment pathways alongside its established role as the state's leading platform for procurement and supplier engagement.
OUR PURPOSE
Despite a robust pipeline of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses ready to service a wide range of government and industry contracts across NSW, actual procurement spend continues to fall below its potential. This gap exists because both sides of the supply chain often need support to build the capacity and capability required to fully engage with one another.
Today, corporate and government buyers are increasingly driven by targeted frameworks such as the NSW Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP), corporate Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, and the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). The Summit provides the critical bridge to translate these high-level commitments into tangible, on-the-ground outcomes.
As the peak body and authoritative voice for Indigenous business in NSW, the NSWICC has developed an innovative partnership model designed to bridge these gaps. The Summit is the cornerstone of this initiative — an essential platform for networking, trade, shared learning and leadership through real-world success stories.
"Join us for The Summit 2026 and be part of a united legacy for change."
