AWARD Description
This category recognises a regionally based Indigenous-owned business that has made a significant impact within its local community and industry. The business demonstrates strong governance, sustainability, and a commitment to cultural and economic outcomes.
Award Eligibility: This award category is open to NSWICC Assured Indigenous businesses. To be eligible for this category, entrants principal place of business must be outside the metropolitan areas of Greater Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong.
About the awards
The Summit Awards showcase and celebrate leadership and outstanding achievements by businesses, government departments, agencies, and individuals. Category nominations will be judged on their contribution to economic outcomes for Indigenous people and communities in NSW, through the growth of Indigenous owned businesses and their engagement in government and industry supply chains and the employment and career advancement of Indigenous people.
