AWARD Description
This category recognises organisations who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in the advocacy and promotion of Indigenous participation, championing the growth and delivery of economic and/or employment opportunities within their organisation and the wider infrastructure and construction sector(s). Organisations who can demonstrate a strong contribution and commitment to capacity building programs for Indigenous entrepreneurs and businesses should apply.
Award Eligibility: This award category is open to all businesses, contractors, corporate and government organisations, that have engaged directly or in-directly within the infrastructure and construction sector(s).
About the awards
The NSWICC Infrastructure and Construction Awards showcase and celebrate leadership and outstanding achievements by businesses, government departments, agencies, and individuals. Category nominations will be judged on their contribution to economic outcomes for Indigenous people and communities in NSW, through the growth of Indigenous owned businesses and their engagement in government and industry supply chains and the employment and career advancement of Indigenous people.
