AWARD Description
This category recognises government departments and/or agencies who have demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership and innovation in their implementation of the NSW Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP).
Award Eligibility: This award category is open to any NSW government department or agency that has used the APP to drive the engagement of Indigenous businesses and the employment of Indigenous people directly or indirectly through contracts to supply goods and services within the infrastructure and construction industry.
About the awards
The NSWICC Infrastructure and Construction Awards showcase and celebrate leadership and outstanding achievements by businesses, government departments, agencies, and individuals. Category nominations will be judged on their contribution to economic outcomes for Indigenous people and communities in NSW, through the growth of Indigenous owned businesses and their engagement in government and industry supply chains and the employment and career advancement of Indigenous people.
